Following a 30-day public comment period, the CRTPO Board adopted the 2050 MTP fiscally constrained project list, bicycle and pedestrian projects and active transportation corridors during the August 18, 2021 board meeting. Charlotte area 5th Graders learn about the MTP and provide ideas on transportation planning
CRTPO created a transportation planning activity for Charlotte area 5th graders. Students were asked to add improvements to a fictitious town and had a set budget to work with. CRTPO held a public comment period from November 19 through December 31, 2020 to seek feedback on updates to the 2050 MTP Goals and Objectives and potential projects to be evaluated within the plan.
